Singapore is by far one of my favourite cities that I’ve ever visited. It’s quite large but very clean and easy to get around. Everywhere you look there seems to be cool lights, tall buildings, green spaces, and shopping malls.

We’re currently travelling through South East Asia for a few weeks and Singapore was the first stop on the trip. It made an awesome place to get started because it got us into that travelling state of mind with a few small culture shocks and experiences without completely overwhelming us. But you’re probably wondering more about this photo so I’ll get to that.

One of the coolest things that we saw in Singapore was an area called Gardens by the Bay. You can wander around the gardens for many hours and there are pathways and bridges that meander from place to place. There’s also a river through part of it with boardwalks along the side and a tall bridge over the top. But in the centre of the Gardens by the Bay is the super tree grove. These are man made trees that are super tall and covered in all sorts of lights. Twice every evening there is a light show as well where everything goes crazy for about 20 minutes and the lights are coordinated with music. At the top of one of the trees is actually a bar and restaurant and there is a big bridge that you can see to the right which connects a few of the trees.
